Welcome to the Bach-Académie de Montréal

The Bach-Académie de Montréal is a non-profit organization founded in Montreal, a city well-known for its sophisticated culture and cultivated artistic communities. As a testament to the city's unique appreciation of baroque period music and its special sensitivity to virtuosic artistry, the Bach-Académie de Montréal organizes a biannual music Festival featuring outstanding Canadian ensembles alongside international artists.

The Montréal Bach-Festival of 2009 will take place from 24.11.2009 to 5.12.2009.

Gala Concert 2008

David Fray

FRENCH PIANIST DAVID FRAY WAS BORN IN 1981 AND STUDIED THE PIANO AT THE PARIS CONSERVATOIRE. HIS OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES HAVE WON HIM NUMEROUS PRIZES AND AWARDS. AT THE 2004 MONTREAL INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION HE WON BOTH THE SECOND GRAND PRIZE AND THE PRIZE FOR THE BEST INTERPRETATION OF A CANADIAN WORK "IMPROMPTU" BY JACQUES HÉTU.
